Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress who was born on May 29, 1982 in Reykjavik, Iceland. She started her acting career at a young age, appearing in Icelandic film and television productions.
Briem gained international recognition for her role as Hannah Ásgeirsson in the science fiction adventure film "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (2008), alongside Brendan Fraser. She also appeared in the sequel "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" (2012).
